Have many "top ranked" teams done so? Are the sessions for now roughly balanced?

Re: The Current State of New Jersey Quizbowl

Chris Chiego sent me a list of NJ schools that do bad quizbowl back in the summer of 2016, but I've sadly never gotten around to contacting them because our tournament fields have always filled up relatively quickly on their own. There probably will be spots free for our Princeton High School tourn...

Re: Scarlet Knight Winter @ Rutgers (01/27/18)

It's pretty incredible that I don't think there's been an event in NJ with a novice bracket or a novice-only tournament in the past few years. Princeton did split standard-competitive this year, but that's it. not to take away from Rutgers and this tournament, but there are plenty of smaller novice...

Thanks for hosting the tournament.
It seems however that the stats for each team have one game repeated twice, so instead of playing 11 games, everyone played 12. Also, are the half packet games considered a full game for ppg?

Re: The Current State of New York City Quizbowl

The same can be said about many places in the Tri-State area. While there are a ton of suburban school teams, many still are reluctant to form academic teams, and instead focus on debate, MUN, or science olympiad. We only started history bowl 3 years ago at my school and I started quizbowl last year...

Re: PHSAT XXIV at Princeton (9/24/16)

Princeton High qualified for the HSNCT. On the PACE site it doesn't list Princeton High School as one of the teams that qualified for the PACE NSC, is there a rule difference between the tournaments or just a mistake on their part?
