Re: Upper/Competitive Divisions

In general, playing upper/competitive in a tournament is the way to go if you want to improve.

Re: Mythology

Just in terms of Greco-Roman myth, buying copies of Edith Hamilton's "Mythology" and Morford and Lenardon's "Classical Mythology" would probably be a good idea, as well as reading the Iliad, Odyssey, and Aeneid (obviously other sources like the Theogony and Metamorphoses have already been mentioned)...

It really only works against a very aggressive team.

Re: Harvard Fall Tournament XIII Available for Mirrors (2018-19)

Is there any chance of an online mirror happening for this? I know that it's not customary, but I was just wondering.

Re: OCTAVIAN - A Classics Tournament

Considering that it has already been played at one site (VCU), do you think that there will be an online mirror of this in the near future? I know that I would love to give this tournament a shot, but, like so many others, can’t attend an actual mirror site.

Thank you,

Re: NASAT Online Mirror 2 (7/28 to 7/29)

Thanks for running such an amazing tournament. As a result, I will try to sign up for more events like this in the future. Also, thanks to Jason, Natan, and Walter for allowing a total novice to join their team for the first day, and to Chip for putting up with my 10 negs and failed attempts at conv...

Re: NASAT Online Mirror 2 (7/28 to 7/29)

Hello everyone, I just put my name down as a free agent for this mirror of NASAT. First off, am I allowed to compete in this as a middle schooler (well, technically my MS career is done)? Second, if it is okay for me to play, I'd be glad to join any team that needs a history/fine arts/mythology play...

Re: 2018 NAQT MSNCT: May 12-13, Chicago

Considering the fact that this was my last MSNCT appearance, I thought that I might as well make my first post on these forums. Congratulations to Shiva Oswal of Team Pi-oneers for one of the most incredible tournament performances that I have ever seen, and to all the other teams that participated ...
