NAQT requires that (absent special approval to the contrary) players only play for the school(s) they actually attend. So middle schoolers cannot play for a high school (unless they also take classes there or have special approval), but a player in grade 8 at a K–12 school could play with high schoo...

In addition, why were the 2 and 3 seeds paired in round 1 again, despite there being a discussion about this before? I think it's reasonable to have a five game prelim schedule if it's seeded well, since in the previous seven game format you still wouldn't get a chance at top bracket if you had two...

There are a few spots left in each division. Registration closes at 5 p.m. CDT tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2.

The current field caps are 140 players in the High School Division and 90 players in the Middle School Division.

QBJ export from new tournaments seems to have stopped working, so NAQT will be unable to accept individual stats from Neg5 (even if they pass all validation) until that issue is resolved. I recommend that hosts of NAQT tournaments not use Neg5.
