We played 19 rounds today and finished at 8:40. Hunter won the NAQT portion by beating Bellarmine twice in a row in the last two rounds. The prelims for ACF Regionals were also played with the top 12 teams doing a playoff tomorrow morning. Stats can be found at texasquizbowl.org.

Next year will be something of a rebuilding year for Texas with the departure of last year's LASA A and Jiawei from Seven Lakes, but this leaves the field more open than it has been for a while. I'd say Seven Lakes is the best team going into next year followed by LASA and then Cistercian.

I think that using NAQT questions to gradually get "top players" who "want a challenge" to try HSAPQ questions sort of defeats the purpose of using HSAPQ questions. For what it is worth, I do think that we should continue to play NAQT sets in Texas for a couple of reasons: 1.
