If you're willing to do a 2 hour drive up I-95, Wilmington Charter hosts a tournament each November which includes a novice division run on an NAQT A level set. Teams such as Richard Montgomery, GDS, and Walter Johnson have made the trip in past years.

I think we need a list of things you can / can not do. For example, would your league allow four teams to come together and play 3 matches in one night? Do you want every team playing every other team exactly once, or would a "playoff phase" be OK?

18 rounds of UVA vs Penn vs Maryland on the Knot go go go I volunteer to read for this. Did somebody drop? I'm only seeing 10 D1 teams today, which would simplify matters. Both Alex and I think we can do extra rounds. What exactly that will look like can get finalized after the field size settles.

I agree with everything Mike said. If this is what you need to do and 4/6 is an open date on the calednar, I say go for it.

Providing whatever date you choose works for us, I imagine at least one team of Delaware and its alums would show.

I guess I'll vote for total points scored in all cases.

Scenario (A) is the only place where head-to-head might apply, and I personally have never liked using head-to-head because it essentially double counts a match.

I'd also like to thank Mike and Washington for organizing this. Except for a small number of times where a transmission would get mangled, this really worked out well. And I think that 8 teams is exactly the number to have.
