I only meant to assert in my post that creating a D2 set seems logistically straightforward, unless the Regionals set poses unique challenges I wouldn't know about. Your output should look like this. The left is the file Mike's program creates. The right is a csv file.
Do this with the website from before. You should get something like this ("Download the entire CSV").
Then you can import as tab-spaced text.

I got the same problem a while ago and used some online service to convert .json to .csv, like https://konklone.io/json/ or anything else. It could be a problem with the original Anki add on. But the csv should work

I think it can't hurt to keep repeating that people should "Avoid tying your happiness or sense of worth to a quizbowl outcome" - as many times as needed and then some. It's good to devote energy to quiz bowl if it's giving you something positive back, but if it isn't, please take a breath...

There are several teams signed up for a Northeast site, but no club has contacted me about hosting in that region. If you are part of a club in the Northeast Corridor, please consider hosting. Otherwise, you will have to travel to either Boston or College Park.
