I agree with Tejas that two consecutive film events is not ideal. I'd definitely play anything, but I think it would be good to not hyperconcentrate the film.

I believe there was a tossup on the Chiefs in this tournament that referred to them as being quarterbacked by Alex Smith. That is now incorrect, as he was traded to Washington several months ago.

I wasn't sure if the conceit of this tournament could work over 100 tossups, but it absolutely did and it was a blast! If you're at all interested in this sort of stuff, this event is a must-play.

It's a little thing, but as much as I tend to curse like a sailor when playing quizbowl, it's not a great look when you're playing against a bunch of people you don't know who are new to the game.

The existence of this site is bad for the Spring Open, which has become a cornerstone of the schedule for the collegiate circuit. I would strongly advise the editors to cancel this mirror or the hosts to renege on hosting, or we're going to end up with two extremely diluted Midwest sites.
