I think the Brubeck tossup’s first clue was something like the fourth clue of the Time Out tossup from Regs 17. Not sure what that means, but just throwing that out there.

This is late, but the Editors 2 packet's "boats" myth tossup says
The giantess Hringhorni helps move an enormous one of these items during Baldr's funeral.
My understanding is that Baldr's ship itself is Hringhorni, while it was the giantess Hyrrokkin that moved the ship.

What does the comment "Pools used, but [team name] is not assigned to a pool" mean? I've checked that every team is placed in both a prelim and playoff bracket so I'm a little confused.

I almost forgot to mention this, but HFT has been certified by PACE as a platinum qualifier, meaning the top 25% of the field (rounded up to the nearest integer of top 8 teams) will qualify for PACE nationals (NSC) in Washington DC.

A timely timeout can sometimes do wonders. I can think of multiple occasions when my high school coach called a timeout to stop the opposition's momentum and help us win games.

There are only 5 spots left for the tournament, as we will not expand to 36 as in previous years. This decision is made from a logistical and quality control perspective.
