Re: Statement on LIT Cheating Allegation: Princeton A
On behalf of the Princeton University Quiz Bowl team: - Chase was dealing with a serious family incident (of which we were then unaware) that resulted in him texting during the tournament. He acknowledges that he should have informed us at the time. How and why is this particularly relevant? I feel...

Re: Attention Louisville and Princeton Quizbowl
Hi Harris, Thanks for bringing it to my attention that you still haven’t received the payment for WAO II from Princeton. For what it’s worth, my last communication with the organizers of WAO II was on February 7th, when I reached out via e-mail to inform them that we’d finally received the payment w...

Re: WAO II at Princeton - Nov. 18
My only complaint was that I found some of the information for logistics lacking (field listing, date of tournament, etc.), but I also wasn't the person who registered so I'm sure there was more info I was missing that was being directly relayed by email. This is good to know! For our next tourname...

Re: WAO II at Princeton - Nov. 18
Of course, this is all moot if a team drops or there's a 13th signup. We're dropping our B-team, so things should be peachy unless another team signs up. FWIW if Princeton has enough staff and there are team members who want to play, playing a house team would be solid - the 12-team schedule sounds...

Re: WAO II at Princeton - Nov. 18
With less than one week until tournament day and there still being some teams that have expressed interest but have yet to register, we'd like to ask that you please sign up by Wednesday if you plan to attend. This will make planning much easier on our end. Thanks!

Re: WAO II at Princeton - Nov. 18
Can we please have a field update on this so we can help the host figure out what team owes what? The field is currently up to date based on the registrations I have received; several teams have expressed an intent to play, but have yet to register by emailing me at jaredlockwoodqb@gmail.com. If yo...

Re: Don DeLillo Presents WAO II Global Announcement (Nov. 20
I know the Princeton team has been having some trouble scheduling, but would it be possible to get a date update? My team and I are hoping to book accommodations soon. Ditto on this, or at least some estimate of likelihood that rooms will be available on the 11th so I can go ahead and set plans and...

Re: Don DeLillo Presents WAO II Global Announcement (Nov. 20
Is the second post's statement that Princeton's mirror will be on the 11th (which has not been stated anywhere else to my knowledge) known to be correct? Jared told me it will be the 11th or the 18th. The 18th is the backup date. As an update to this, I'm still waiting for confirmation that we'll b...

When do we need to decide which division our team/teams want to be in? Here is a floorplan for McCosh Hall. It is worth noting that some rooms on the first and second floors can only be accessed through their corresponding entryway. For example, if you want to get to room 21, you will need to go through entryway 2.

Re: PHSAT XXV at Princeton (9/30/2017)
In the interest of accommodating as many teams as possible, we've decided to allow teams that are able to provide an experienced question reader to enter the field, up to a maximum of 46 teams. These teams will still receive the full staffer discount. There is also still the possibility of an unrest...

The initial field cap has been reached. However, if your team is interested in competing at PHSAT I would encourage you to join the waitlist; as it is still nearly two months out from the tournament date and most schools are not yet in session, some teams' registrations are likely to change in the c...

Quick reminder that non-Skype mirrors of this tournament are beginning this weekend! Teams should definitely sign-up for their local EMT mirrors, if they haven't yet! Re: Eisenhower Memorial Tournament at Princeton - Date TBD
Okay, so April 15th definitely seems to be the most popular choice now, and works better for us logistically as well. Pending room reservations, this tournament will take place on April 15; May 6 will serve as the back-up date. Failing both of these (which is pretty unlikely), we will go with April ...

Re: Eisenhower Memorial Tournament at Princeton - Date TBD
Jared, do you have an idea of when you're going to decide the date for the tournament? So far, five schools have expressed the desire to play on April 15, so that seems like a good date to hold it. Speaking in my purely unofficial capacities as "guy submitting the room reservation forms" ...
