Trust me I know your pain.. I have seniors and juniors that have NEVER played before this year and my team last year only had sophomores and freshman with an 8th grader some of the time

I think that there is a plan in the works for an NAQT middle school championship. I know I am going to host the NAQT middle school state again this year in Alabama with IS-84A on April 4th...

While I was not totally happy with how well we did, I wasn't totally unhappy with it either. For a young team with only 2 members with any experience I thought we did do okay.. but I do see a brighter future due to the fact that the beating we got this weekend has managed to spark a bit more enthusi...

Does anyone know how up to date the ASCA site is concerning tournaments. I am trying to plan schedules but I don't know when Buckhorn, Brindlee Mountain, and a few others are hold their tournaments. Also, I might be holding a tournament earlier than the one in Jan if I can find a date that is open

We have one practice starting at 6:30 till the first bell rings ~7:30 then I have another from 3 till 4:15 or so... I have to agree seems like that we are more productive in the morning also but it could be that I have two different groups...

I would like to also invite all of those teams to DAR's 1st ever tournament on Jan 24th of 2009. While it the first to be held on the campus at DAR it is not my first time to host. We should be having IS-83 and it would be great to have some high caliber teams to attend...

Well I did find out that the price of our transportation will be 1.50 per mile plus 8/hr for the bus driver plus paying all the other payroll stuff which is about 30 bucks a day... I guess I will have really start working on getting my bus driver's license as soon as possible.

When I was discussing the schedule for the team with my principal, the long distance ones were already off the table and he stressed for me to stay close to home as possible. Your school pays for (some of) your trips? How about schools who get no funding whatsoever? We're in way worse shape at this...
