Hello, The University of Minnesota Quiz Bowl plans on running a mirror of Sun N Fun on 7/11/09. Room reservations and all haven't exactly been made, but that surely will be taken care of within the next couple of weeks. This post will be updated with fee schedule and other details soon. Andrew Yaphe - Pretty damn good at a lot of stuff, too. 3. Jerry Vinokurov - Haven't yet won a game against a team Je...

I also think that the clue with David Lloyd-George as the answer had a stock clue too early. I thought it was pretty famous that Herbert Asquith's Chancellor of the Exchequer was David Lloyd-George. There's a discrepancy in the fee schedule. The $100 Penalty shouldn't be slapped on before the $50 penalty is slapped on.

I thought of this on Sunday as we were waiting for buzzers to come by, but it seems to me like ACF could benefit from setting aside some of the revenue from Fall 2009, Winter 2010, and Regs 2010 towards buying some buzzers and smooth out supply shocks like this. I am going to be forthright and say that unless per packet distributions are instuted by NAQT, I am not interested in playing any combination of SCT/ICTb in the future. It was incredibly disappointing to play packet 3 and 13, both of which had around 6 (or more) tossups of CE/Trash/Geo.
