Re: New Coke Presents: MacVanity, March 7, 2015

Ok, so we're three days away from MacVanity...and from the sounds of it, the field is looking fairly limited at this time. If teams could please confirm with me who is in fact coming, that would be great. It would also be great to get packets from people (including from our own club...). Here's the ...

Fun tournament, Queen's et al.! Although the tournament was challenging, it was an amusing day and other than those mint icing-covered scrambled eggs at lunch, I would 10/10 do it again. Now, Joe, can you post real stats instead of a blank page? I wanna see my 15ish ppg in all its glory.

Based off of what I've heard thus far, here is a field update: HSC 1-2 teams SJB maybe 1 team SWC 1 team Waterloo CI 2 teams Westmount 1-2 teams Woburn CI 1 team As it stands, our field is currently 6-8 teams, which is honestly more than expected, thanks to those teams who have recently signed up! In response to difficulty: It's wildly variable. From packets I've heard so far, they are generally reasonable (ACF Fall-Regionals at most), with some outliers (if you're familiar with my packet-writing, then use that as a gauge). As for due date, we're hoping by Feb. 25. We'll need time to look ove...

We don't really have the time or resources to hold it on another day, and according to Leslie, Ben has said it would be ok for us to do this on that date. Thank you all for your suggestions, they are duly noted (although may not be followed-through on). I'd still like to try to complete a 10-tossup pack that is Oceania-centric, or perhaps it may need to become a general "Island-centric" that would therefore include such places as Indonesia, ...
