If people have strong knowledge of a figure with ambiguous nationality, wouldn't they know that the person's nationality is a confusing jumble of polities, and not be confused by it? Is Bridgeport the only school in West Virgina that knows HSNCT is a thing? When we went to Parkersburg Catholic, a few teams were saying how Parkersburg H.S. was one of the nation's top teams after their performance at "nationals" (NAC) last year.

It's sort of odd how it seems like White Cloud sends more teams to out of state tournaments than ones in Michigan. I think the past two years they have the reputation as the team that traveled the farthest to come to Tippecanoe, and I can't speak to their team caliber but they got in playoff content...
