Re: CSWIFT at Wilmington Charter (11/3/12)

Thanks to Charter for running a very smooth tournament, with minimum complications. We were really happy that we could get out as quickly as 4:30.

As a side note, could you please clarify exactly which teams qualified for HSNCT/NSC? Thanks!

We could run a tournament on an A level set with two divisions if teams would prefer that.
Do you mean in March or this weekend?

Re: DC/DE/MD/VA Date Claim '12-'13

Charter has claimed Nov. 3rd for the Delaware Fall Tournament. Centennial High School will be having its tournament (NAQT-Novice set but open to everyone)on SUNDAY 12/2/12 (a day after the SATs). It appears that these are both planning to use IS-121A, at least for one division in Charter's case. An...

I'm not sure if this completely conflicts with your field or not, but according to the NAQT website the University of Maryland is planning on using the same set for Maryland Fall

Re: What Happens to DC-Area Quizbowl Next Year?

The part that most jumps out to me from your rankings is that you ranked both RM A and your own team over a still very strong Blair A. Even though they do lose Daniel H., Blair still returns two very good players in Ian and Thomas. In fact, looking at stats from Pace, Ian had a better PPG than Danie...

Re: What Happens to DC-Area Quizbowl Next Year?

Nolwenn (my wife and NHBB International Director) and I are moving to the DC area in late August or September. We plan on visiting at least 50 area schools next fall to drum up interest in our tournaments, and are happy to share our quizbowl resources guide, etc. Also moving to DC: our buzzer syste...

Re: Online Skype Practice League - Champions League

Considering that the finals for OSPL Round 6 has been postponed to sometime this week + the fact that AP Exams start next week, I would assume that Champions League would start around after HSNCT or right before?
