It's not just those, it's literally all of the games that carried over from prelims to playoffs (UGA A, UTK, and Kentucky A in one bracket, Georgia Tech A, Louisville, and UGA B in the other).

Well I, for one, will be leaving the Midwest for the Mid-Atlantic, as I'll be at Georgetown getting an M.S. in Microbiology and Immunology. Will definitely continue to play quizbowl. I hope I can get the existing club there to be as active on the circuit as possible.

2. ACF Nationals 2014 Then the Columbia B game happened. We played very badly (I recall getting questions outside of my areas, never a good sign), they had some really nice buzzes and we lost on a protest. On spoilers: I don't think it's a bad thing to hold trash to a different standard regarding them as opposed to literature. Unlike lit, trash relies a fair amount on recently-released/published material, and if you're able to write a good, pyramidal question that plays well to the audience on this on...

SinceDelta Burke has been confirmed, it looks like the best option for hosting an early December collegiate tournament and attracting a good-sized field that fits the type of teams/players you're looking for, as it's written with less-experienced players in mind.

I don't know which of these moments were the worst. I'll just list a bunch of candidates: -2009 HSNCT. We didn't play particularly well on the (really hard) questions, having to play (and lose to) Rancho Bernardo twice in the prelims was annoying, and we lost 95-475 in the first playoff game we play...

I highly enjoyed this tournament, and of the last four ACF Nationals I liked this year's set the most. In particular, I liked the bio/chem a lot more than last year's, and the middle clues in the chem bonuses like "regioselectivity" and "one pot" were good ways of testing knowled...
