Re: Seth Teitler Presents: An Intimate Engagement with Trash
The tournament was fully finished by 2:30, which I'm really happy with. The Marnold Believers beat Ada or Menardor on a protest which resulted in a replacement question to take first. If starts aren't already up, they will be so shortly. So, some thanks: Thanks to Joe Su for doing 20 !!! rounds wort...

Re: Seth Teitler Presents: An Intimate Engagement with Trash
I think 16 teams would be ideal for this: two brackets of 8 for a 7 game prelim round robin, followed by four brackets of four for a three round playoff, followed by finals if needed. According to the sheet, we've got 14 teams; two of which currently have three members and one team which currently h...

I know they delivered to me at least a few times in college. Given that a deep dish can take up to 40 some odd minutes to complete, I'd highly recommend ordering early and checking in with them at least a couple of days beforehand to verify they can actually accommodate such a large order.

Here's an idea--why don't you (Marshall) TD the trash tournament and run it efficiently enough (i.e. masterminding lunch, enforcing start times) so that your history tournament can start as soon as possible? I'd also like to emphasize how unlikely it is to start History at 2PM even if trash runs preternaturally smoothly with a bullet fired off Kentucky Derby style at 8AM. My biggest issue on this is that the 10-second bonus parts eat up A LOT of time on the clock, which could potentially swing a game. Going over to 10 seconds for all three parts would add at most 15 seconds per game. That could be compensated in part by having shorter, less wordy questions (or on av...
