Re: CBI Regionals!

I made sure to get email addresses of all of the teams that did nothing but CBI so I can let them know about upcoming NAQT/ACF events, and they all seemed interested. This is a good thing that productively enlarges the circuit. CBI IS EVIL! ANGRY! SMASH! This isn't. For what it's worth, even if all...

Yeah, you could definitely play for the college. NAQT explicitly allows in at http://www.naqt.com/collegiate-eligibility.html (section C-6) and implicitly endorses it in FAQ #18 at http://www.naqt.com/eligibility-faq.html. I think it's certainly ethical, and based on those sources, it's also legal. ...

Worth noting, though, is that reading all 24 tossups in a timed match is pretty rare. It's much more common to read in the 19-22 area, and I believe NAQT's standard is for readers in timed matches to average about 20 TUs/match. The untimed = 20 TU standard is based on equalizing timed and untimed ma...

So I know this has been discussed before, but since it's been awhile, and since that's never stopped anyone anyway, I'd like to talk about something.
