I have suggested that pronunciation guides be printed with light grey backgrounds to better allow people to see punctuation. ... On the drive back to San Antonio, Dennis and I wound up being moved into the kitchen of the Black-Eyed Pea in Hillsboro due to a tornado touchdown in town there. It missed us by about 2 miles to the northeast. The weather added about 2 hours to a 5 hour trip. Could've been a lot worse.

Hi, Jeff. Will NAQT be considering a jump to 272 again? If so, when do you expect that discussion to occur? I notice that the bump to 272 last year occurred on March 6.

Also, does NAQT have a multiple of 16 beyond 256 in mind that it considers the event's logistical maximum?

Somebody in the other thread said that different systems have different ways of breaking a tie between simultaneous buzzes, and that in some cases there's always one color that wins, etc. This seems like incredibly relevant information that should be shared with the community. Friday was the IESA State Series in downtown Peoria, which Daniel Wright won in AA.
