Any Ohio teams would be out, February 23 is the Copley Invitational, the biggest tournament in Ohio... and the last 4 state champs have won this tournament, so I doubt anyone wants to miss (even though I hate OAC)

They're kind of a mystery team because even though they return Doug, and load up their A team from their not-so-terrible B team from last year, who knows how they will gel. I would expect an above-average team, but only Joe knows whether they will compete on a larger stage and be successful.

This is not to knock the Ohio team the were a good, and it all did turn out ok in the end, but I think there needs to be some penalty for just the sort of thing that happened and not for the team that was rooked. I really don't think that it would've helped Ohio to have California answer that question, but that's just speculation. No, I'm saying it helped us more that you got the replacement question right. Perhaps you can allow B teams if the school brings a floating staffer I think this is an excellent idea... I think if schools are going to bring more than 1 team, they should have to bring a staff member, who would stay at the hotel with them, and not on NAQT's dime. It wouldn't solve the question ...

We didn't intentionally lose to Stuy A in the first round, but after that we rattled off 6 in a row to qualify for the playoffs at 6-1 already... (we would later lose 3 in a row)... In those 6 in a row, we beat Dorman A and Shadyside both... so it really didn't give us much of an easier schedule aft...

You wouldn't get squat from Northeast Ohio on that weekend, mainly because there are two local tournaments going on that usually grab a good handful of teams.

If you did it the last weekend of September, you would get a better turnout, most likely including our team.
