Re: New England (CT, MA, VT, NH) Date Claims, 2013-14

Hello— After a bit of soul searching and a lot of data gathering (thank you to those who chimed in), I have decided to stay with the original date of 2/22/14 for CT INV V. I know this is somewhat disappointing for MA teams, but the thing that tipped the balance is the timing of UConn Science Bowl. I...

Re: New England (CT, MA, VT, NH) Date Claims, 2013-14

Hello all--
I have been told that 2/22 is a bad date for CT INV V because everyone in Massachusetts will be on vacation. I am seriously thinking about switching the date to 3/1 but I need input on this soon. Is there any reason anyone can think of that we can't do this on 3/1? Thanks.

Smith is sending two coaches and a quizbowl alumnus, so we can provide one staffer too. That ought to help with keeping things smooth. Are you distributing packets electronically? Electronic scoresheets too?
One last note--please update the field to show Smith as bringing 3 teams. Thanks!

Is a CT state championship a viable thing? Enquiring minds want to know.
