Gov expects to be registering soon; we just need to work out how many teams we're bringing.

a focus on biographical clues and overall questions on people he really hates that... Because it's frustrating. It doesn't test lit knowledge. However, I'm not above admitting that in my early career as a QE (meaning this summer) I had a lot of the same problems. I was just fortunate to have guidan...

Maggie Walker made it home safely and had an awesome time. One suggestion I would make though, would be to work on your distribution a bit and also to try to eliminate repeats where possible. Okay, so that's two suggestions. But you may find them helpful, as your program is still pretty new. The tou...

As long as we're pimping our college tournaments for the top high school teams, I'm also still looking for teams for ACF Fall this Saturday at VCU. On a calm Saturday morning Richmond is either 2.5 hours from the Maryland suburbs of DC (Chris Romero school of driving) or 1.7 hours (Sorice-Weiner me...

Yeah, we were being perhaps a little too cautious...which may have hurt in all those 1-2 toss-up losses.

Greg definitely owned. Also, playing 13 games was awesome. We may have done a little better with Andrew or Palmer, but it was a great experience overall.

*shameless plug* GSAC is house-written and follows NAQT distribution fairly closely. We definitely aren't skewed in any direction. But a lot of housewritten tournaments are. That's just how it goes.

In response to yangsta's comment, the two moderators that gave MLWGS the most trouble were definitely not n00bs. They were both there last year and the same issues came up this year. I agree with Quint that he really is not well-liked by the moderators and i admit that sometimes he is off base, but ...

One of my teammates thought he remembered last year's tournament being a PACE qualifier...so, two questions: 1) Was it? and 2) Is it this year? Gov also had an awesome time last year.

Gov is interested in coming. 11/17 would probably work better for us, as 12/1 is so close to our own tournament date.

MLWGS would probably be interested in attending; Dr. Barnes announced that the team itself will be more active in choosing which tournaments we go to. We've gone to overnights before, so it probably wouldn't be too much of a problem. And I'm sure Quint probably misses you.
