After going to a few tournaments, I have to say the disparity between the 5 or 6 really good teams and everyone else is huge. Has it always been this way, or is it actually balanced sometimes?

I thought the tournament was very well run. It helps that we won the JV bracket, of course. It was rather amusing after the first round going 3-1, but having card #9 and thinking we were already out.

Most of the questions were fine, with a few misleading ones. The one noticeable thing was the difference in difficulty between questions. Some were ridiculous; others might have started off with harder clues. Lots of emphasis on economics and philosophy.

Eh, personally? I'm fairly green at this, so I'd have to either say a game against Jefferson or Whitman [which was something like last month]. I think we actually fared better against Jefferson; small consolation, though, considering we lost by something like 600 points.

I really, really dislike the Judge. You really have to jam the darn "gas-pedal" system to make it work, and, as mentioned before, if one goes down, it takes the rest with it. I understand that there's a trade-off between ease of use and durability, but I just don't like it. It's clunky. Th...
