If Maryland really is so interested in running a tournament in May, why not arrange to,say, make the main site in the Midwest in exchange for a higher cut than usual of the mirror fees? I could actually see a fairly decent market in the midwest for a May tournament.

The problem you could run into is tournaments not using the finals packets per their labels or not being able or willing to burn them for finals, in which case you have a two-round difficulty spike.

What was the second clue from the Blue tossup? If it's something on "Mary wears a robe of this color in a Holbein" painting, then that's actually a fairly important iconographical thing that an art historian would study. Also, I'm a bit confused-is the issue people had with the Blue tossup...

Some of the fish description clues were a little wonky (In paticular the extended jaw clue in the cuttthroat trout question also fits the smallmouth bass),but that's just a minor nitpick.
