3rd Annual Collins Hill (GA) Spring Tournament [LIST/133A]

Collins Hill High School is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Collins Hill Spring Tournament (formerly known as the season ender) on Saturday, April 5th, 2014.

QUESTIONS:
The Varsity Tournament will be a mirror of the Ladue Invitational Spring Tournament (LIST) and is open to all high school students in grades 9-12. The JV tournament will use NAQT set 133A and students up to 10th grade will be allowed to participate in the tournament. All teams are guaranteed at least five preliminary rounds followed by a single-elimination or rebracketed playoff (depending on field size)
* Playoffs will be sorted by W-L and PPB in Varsity.
** Playoffs will be sorted by W-L and PPG in JV.

FORMAT:
Each round will consist of 20 tossups with 3 part bonus questions. The JV division will be using powers and bounceback bonuses. The Varsity division will use powers, negs and no bouncebacks (in preparation for HSNCT).
*Each team will play with 4 players at a time with substitutions between rounds and at halftime.
** Individual stats will be kept in the Varsity Division only.

Registration will begin at 8 AM and we hope to start Round 1 at 8:45. Lunch will be served on campus after Round 5. Lunch will be provided for a cost of $5. Please do not leave campus as the nearest restaurants are over 3 miles away. Teams who are not in their Round 6 rooms in time will forfeit the round. The entire tournament should be over before 5 PM.

FEE STRUCTURE:
The registration fee for the tournament will be $65 for the first team and $60 for a 2nd team, and $55 for each additional team. There is a $10 discount for bringing an experienced reader (limit 2). The registration fee will increase to $75 per team after March 21st, 2014 unless prior arrangements have been made.

PAYMENT:
Checks should be made out to CHHS Academic Team and can be mailed to the school at 50 Taylor Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.

There were lots of changes in the field (notably Marist and Chattahoochee withdrawing from Varsity) and I didn't get to update the field on the forum.
