I can confirm that our stats are now complete and hopefully even accurate, and are now online (http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db/tournament ... standings/). Well done to everyone.

(Because I am the most forgetful ever, I never actually made sure I had last names for everyone on L&N STEM A. We can get that straight for posterity; somebody just let me know.)

I had one acknowledgement I wanted to make. As we're getting stable organizationally in East Tennessee, we have had days where we've wound up being staff-limited and have had to scramble (cross reference the Pioneer Collegiate Novice we ran at Tusculum College earlier this year). This was one of those days. We still ran a tournament rather efficiently because of the yeoman's efforts of several people, including most of the field of the open division and a couple of other coaches and players, who threw in to read, scorekeep or otherwise be generally generous.

With apologies to anyone who I forget because I may have missed their name on a scoresheet, those individuals who read matches: Andrew Jackson of Seymour HS, Sam Matson and Molly Risley of Cookeville, HS, Eric Douglass and Thomas Elgin of South Carolina, Erin Drinnon and Noah Lyons of East Tennessee State, Jack and Mark Lewis of "Sir Negs-A-Lot", and Seth Kendall, who is Seth Kendall, dang it. Others who kept score and otherwise contributed: John Huylu and Julian Rachele of South Carolina, and Catherine Pearson of East Tennessee State.

Special commendation to Sarah Whisenhunt of Gate City HS who got pulled out of a room (when I was reading a match to her team, no less) unexpectedly, and wound up reading matches in the open division for the bulk of the day.

The main staff of the day (beyond our tournament director) was myself, Melissa Horning of Union County HS, and Alex Tabor of East Tennessee State on reading detail, and Tyler Summey and Marissa Posani, students at Union County HS, on scorekeeping, along with Anna Pearson of East Tennessee State.

(Catherine and Anna Pearson are possibly related.)

Last and never least, thanks to Dren Rollins, whose leadership in the region has been absolutely vital this year, and whose friendship is fierce and unwavering. I'm super-glad I get to support the work he does, and I'm super-glad I get to play whatever small part in helping the game in East Tennessee.

Rock on, y'all.
