Washington Fall Classic (December 9, 2017 @ UW)

Greetings!

The University of Washington is pleased to announce the Washington Fall Classic, to be held on our campus on December 9th, 2017!

Logistics: The tournament will be held at Savery Hall. The posting can be seen here.

We will be using NAQT rules, with untimed packets of 20 toss-ups and bonuses, powers, and negs. We will also keep full stats at the tournament.

Schedule:
8:00 AM: Team Check-in
8:30 AM: Pre-Tournament Meeting
9:00 AM: Start Round 1

Fees:
Base Fee: $70
Buzzer Discount: $5 per working system (must support 4 v 4 play)
Staffer Discount: $10 per scorekeeper or experienced moderator
Travel Discount: $5 per 100 miles, rounded to the nearest 100 (so if you travel between 150 and 200 miles for example, you'd be discounted $10, provided that doesn't bring you under the minimum fee)
Minimum Fee: $35
Checks can be made out to UW Quizbowl, and may be paid day-of

Registration:
Please visit this link on or after October 30th to register. We will enforce a field cap of 24 teams, along with a wait list (priority first-come, first-serve) for any teams registering after the field cap is filled.
