Carnegie Mellon Quiz Bowl is pleased to announce Carnegie Quiz II, to be held at our Pittsburgh campus on Saturday, February 16, 2019. We will be using NAQT IS-181, including computational math tossups and bonuses.

Registration: To register, please fill out [this form]( or email us at There is a soft cap of 24 teams, with the ability to expand pending interest and staff. Registration will close on Saturday, February 9, 2019, a week before the tournament.

Fees and Discounts:
Minimum fee per team: $40
$75 for the first team
$65 for each addtional team
-$10 for each working buzzer set. Buzzer sets must have eight functional buzzers to receive this discount.
-$10 for each experienced moderator

We will be using standard NAQT rules, including timed rounds, at this tournament.

We will break for lunch after the morning session. Within a five-minute walk from campus there are several eateries on Craig Street. With a slightly longer walk, there is a significantly larger selection further down Forbes Avenue towards Pitt.
