Richard Montgomery is happy to announce RM Spring, its mirror of HFT XIII! The tournament will take place on Saturday, March 30th, 2019, at Richard Montgomery High School. Teams
All players are welcome to participate in the tournament. We ask that teams carry no more than six players on any single team. Teams planning to bring more than six players should register another team.

Tournament Fees
The fee structure is as follows:
Base fee per team: $75
Buzzer discount- having at least 4 working buzzers on each side, limit 1 per team: -$5
Reader discount: -$10
Travel discount: -$10 per 100 miles, one-way (via Google Maps)
Minimum fee per team: $50

Please note that there will be a $15 cancellation fee for every team withdrawn from the tournament after 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 25th. This will not apply if your school registers new teams after the deadline.

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM, with matches starting at about 9:00 AM.

Checks should be made out to “Richard Montgomery High School” with “It’s Academic” as the memo line. They may be mailed in advance to 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, Rockville, MD 20852, with Douglas McDonald in the attention line. Record of payment must be received before or on the day of the tournament.

The field has a soft cap of 18 teams. Expansion is possible if more readers sign up.

At lunch, pizza will be sold by the pie. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance.
