UBC Spring Invitational Tournament -- Sun. 04/07

Post by ArnavS »

The University of British Columbia will be hosting a Spring Invitational Tournament on Sunday, April 7th. (**note:** We're pushing back a week due to availability from teams and staff.)

Eligibility --- HS players who've been to 2 or less tournaments. (College players who meet this requirement are also eligible, but we're not expecting too many of them. If we do, we'll create a separate division for them).

Fee Structure --- $50 per team, with a $10 discount for bringing a working buzzer set. This is **inclusive of pizza**.

Food --- We plan on buying pizza for all participants. If this doesn't meet anyone's dietary requirements or preferences, please let us know ([email protected], cc [email protected]).

Questions --- We'll be playing NAQT set 178A, which has been Canadianized. If enough college players come, we'll use NAQT's recent Collegiate Novice set for them. These teams have heard the HS questions, so they're unfortunately not eligible to come.

Registration --- Here's the form.

We hope to see you on the 7th, and please email us or comment below if there are any questions or concerns.

Field, as of 3/26/19:
UBC A
UHill A
Hamber A
SFU A
Maybe one more HS
