Georgetown Spring: 4/13 (BHSAT XVIII)

Georgetown will be hosting its Spring Tournament on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. We will be mirroring the BHSAT XVIII question set.

Location: The tournament will be hosted on Georgetown campus in the Edward B. Bunn Intercultural Center (commonly known as the ICC). Registration will begin at 8:00 am outside room ICC 115, and we expect round 1 to start at 9:00 am. Parking is available for free on weekends in the Southwest Garage. A map of campus is available at maps.georgetown.edu.

Fees
Base fee: $70 per team
Working buzzer system discount: -$5
Experienced staffer discount: -$10
Travel discount: -$10 (over 150 miles each way)
Minimum fee: $45

Registration
To register, please send an email to quizbowl@georgetown.edu with the number of teams, working buzzers, experienced moderators you plan on bringing, and if you will be using the travel discount. Please also provide the name and telephone number of a contact for the team. Please pay either in advance or on the day of the tournament. We will be accepting cash and check (if you choose check, please make it out to “Georgetown University Quiz Bowl”).
We have a soft cap of 20 teams but may adjust given staffer availability.

Thanks to all teams for coming to the tournament! Congratulations to Richard Montgomery A for winning the tournament, Montgomery Blair A for placing second, and Georgetown Day School A for placing third.
