Danville Season Opener (Danville, KY - 9/12/09)

Danville High School in Danville, KY will be hosting its first Season Opener Tournament on Saturday, September 12th. This is an ACT date. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please e-mail me at rob.kremer@gmail.com.


Questions
We will be using HSAPQ's Four Quarter set.


Format
Bracketed round robin in the morning. Single elimination playoffs in the afternoon. If there is sufficient interest, we will have separate Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions.


Fees
$60 per team

Would it be possible for Danville to use a round robin format instead of single elimination for their playoff rounds?

I would like to, but I'm anticipating trouble keeping enough readers after lunch. If I can get more solid commitments from them, we will definitely consider changing it.

Detroit Catholic Central is interested in both Varsity and JV.

I'll post full results in the next couple of days, but Dunbar A and B were the top two finishers in the varsity division. Dunbar A and Campbell County were the top two teams in the JV division.
