We're very interested in this. Is there still room in the field?

This happened today. 11 teams showed up, and Parkersburg High School won the event, beating South Range of Ohio decisively in the final. Mercersburg Academy of Pennsylvania finished third, beating Parkersburg Catholic by 10 points in the consolation round on a question that went to the last tossup (which went dead).

Greg Bossick was present and did his stat thing; one of these days he'll surface with numbers.

Also, there were typos in the set. Manufacture your own parody of a HSAPQ discussion thread spiraling out of control by focusing on a small number of typos as you wish.

This was a pretty good tournament. Obviously there were some issues that come with a first-time tournament, but we had a lot of fun playing and meeting the various West Virginian teams. Props to Parkersburg, they are very good, and I hope they go to the HSNCT and/or NSC.
