The Return of Ridgewood P! This tournament will be NHBB's largest ever regional or state tournament, and may also be the largest non-National quizbowl tournament of any sort in the country this year. If you haven't yet signed up and are interested in coming, you can do so through Thursday at www.historybowl.com/registration For all members of the quizbowl / NHBB community who are interested, we're also holding a dinner party after the tournament from 7:30-11pm in Ridgewood at my parents' place. If you're interested in coming, send me a message. Post below on any aspects of the tournament if you're interested. We'll have a huge turnout of highly qualified staffers (including Jon Pinyan and Andrew Ibendahl on stats, Raynell Cooper, Connor Teevens, Ben Zhang, Marisol Brady, Maggie Larkin, and my parents) to ensure things run smoothly.

We ended up with 74 teams - congratulations to High Tech A and C for winning the Varsity and JV Bowls and to Shravan Balaji of EBHS and Douglas Simons of High Tech for winning the Bees. A big thanks to Jon Pinyan and Andrew Ibendahl for stats, Raynell Cooper and Connor Teevens for coming in from DC and Michigan to help out, and to Ben Zhang, Maggie Larkin, Tom Kelso, Alec Vulfson, Rohit Prakash, and Tim and Susan Madden for staffing, and of course, to all coaches, teams and students for coming! Next up are our February 28 USHB/USGO Qualifying Quiz Tournament in Tenafly, our March 21 Mid-Atlantic Championships in Princeton on A Set, though we will also offer A set at North Babylon on March 14, C Set at Phillipsburg on March 7, and USHB/USGO at Kings Park, Long Island and Colts Neck, NJ.
