Hi all,
I have recently gotten back into quizbowl after a 2-year long hiatus (this will also be my first time competing at the collegiate level). This time, I really want to get into quizbowl with lots of studying and dedication to doing well in tournaments. The topics that I have background in and want to specialize in are science, religion and mythology. So I was wondering if the users of this forum can give me recommendations on what resources (such as books and websites) to study off of to get a good breadth of knowledge on the topics. Here are the individual topics that I want to study:
For Science:
Theoretical Mathematics, Biology (General, Neuroscience, Genetics, Anatomy/Physiology, Biotechnology), Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic, Physical), Physics, Earth Science, Astronomy, Computer Science
For Religion:
Christianity/Catholicism/Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism
For Mythology:
Greek & Roman, Norse, Egyptian

There's a really popular book out that will help you with Christianity/Judaism, it's been a best seller for a while now and has a lot of primary sources.
