Gladiator Open: March 23, 2013 in Elm Grove, WI

Hello, ladies and gentlemen:

St. Mary's Visitation School in Elm Grove, WI is pleased to announce that we will host Gladiator Open 2013 on Saturday, March 23, 2013. This is an open junior high (grades 6-8) quiz bowl tournament to played on NAQT's MS-06 question set. We follow NAQT rules except that instead of timed halves, we will play two ten-tossup halves with bonuses.

The entry fee is $60 per team, with a $10 discount for bringing a working buzzer system and a $10 discount on a second (and subsequent) team. I'll guarantee you at least six games, but you will most likely get eight or nine.

St. Raymond cleared the field at Gladiator Open 2013 today, played on MS-06 at St. Mary's Visitation.

Teams played 5 preliminary rounds; the top two teams from each division advanced to the Bach (Championship) Bracket; the next two landed in the Beethoven Bracket; the last two in the Brahms Bracket.

Preliminaries:
Associative Division:
