State of QuizbowlDB

Hello everyone.

I realize I've been very much disconnected from the quizbowl community for the past couple of years and I've been neglecting to update/fix QuizbowlDB for a while now.

I would like to make one last big update and fix most if not all of the major bugs in one go before I officially retire myself from the project, probably in one or two months. Unfortunately I don't see myself having the time to maintain the site, add features, and address bug fixes afterwards. However, until further notice, I will keep the site online.

Both the website and question parser are open source at https://github.com/sharadmv/quizbowl2 and https://github.com/sharadmv/quizbowl-parser respectively (though the question parser hasn't changed since high school so it's pretty outdated) if anyone still wants contribute.

So... is QBDB officially "dead" again? Permanently, this time? Or will it pull another phoenix act and rise from the ashes? Thanks...

It is now officially dead, as a Japanese owner has bought the domain.
