Connecting quizbowl buzzers to a computer.

Post by liv »

Hello guys, i recently bought the buzzers made by NED sold on BuzzerSystems.com.

Does anyone know anyway to connect them to a computer so i can practice using them on protobowl or something?

Thank You!!!

I don't know anything about those buzzers, but if you want to try a set of USB buzzers you can take a look at PACEBuzz: http://www.pace-nsc.org/pacebuzz/

These buzzers work well (they correspond to 0-9 on number pad):

In Kentucky, Inquisitor buzzers are used at the State Finals and a lot of teams use the system around the state.

It works on PCs and you can run it on just about any old computer you have. We just take an old laptop and a second monitor with us when we go to meets and it shows the score and the timer. It's really neat.

The guy that makes the system, Bill Luyster ([email protected])is a great guy and he is the best at customer service and taking care of problems with the system quickly.

http://www.inquisitorsystems.com/produc ... d-systems/ is the website. They have wired and wireless systems. I prefer the wired because I'm an old man. haha.
