Qblitz and QANTA

Qblitz is excited to announce a new partnership with QANTA, the question-answering software being developed by Jordan Boyd-Graber and his team. Over the next couple months, Qblitz will be running open tournaments in conjunction with the QANTA project. You, the player, will get to quizbowl and advance science at the same time!

The first event will be held in the third week of February and will use the QANTA League set. (A formal announcement will go up in the next couple days.) Since QANTA has already played these questions, it will be a humans-only event.

The second event will be held in April and will feature brand new questions, so players can play alongside QANTA. More details will be available in the coming months.

These events will be free to anyone with the HS Season Pass, so if you've already got yours, do nothing - you'll get signed up automatically. For anyone else, you'll be able to register at Qblitz after the official announcement goes up.
