BLASTOISE @ Lisgar (26 March 2011)This an announcement for the
Bell-
Lisgar
Academic &
Sexy
Trash
Open
Inside the
South-
East (of Ontario), aka
BLASTOISE being played at the Lisgar campus on 26 March 2011. Before anyone asks, YES there will be at least a
Pokémon pack of 20 tossups produced by the editors, but that's not the entirety of this tournament.
FORMAT AND DIFFICULTY
This will continue the legacy of the Ottawa Hybrid Tournaments, in that it will be a packet-submission tournament open to high school (hopefully helping spread quizbowl in Ontario against the spectre of Reach for the Top) and university teams. This tournament should be around the ACF-Fall, HSNCT level. It will have powers. The number of rounds will be determined by the number of packets submitted+2 editor rounds. This will be edited by myself, Lisgar teammates (Jj, Joe), as well as Nick from Bell High School, which hosted BOKCHOI in November. Submitted packets will be edited down to 20/20+TBs.
