CO Trash at Maryland (Sept. 10, 2016)

This post will serve as an announcement for the Maryland mirror of Chicago Open Trash. The tournament will be held at the University of Maryland on September 10, 2016.

Registration
Teams can register by both emailing me at [email protected] and filling out the first page of this spreadsheet.

Free agents can refer to the second page of the same spreadsheet to enter their name and find out who else is available. This will not serve as registration, but rather just a tool for those looking to make a team.

Field Cap and Format
As of now, the field will be capped at 8 teams but that is subject to change based on numbers of staffers and rooms. With 8 teams, we will do a full round-robin, split into an upper and lower bracket, and play another 3 rounds. The winner will be announced after 10 rounds but teams are welcome to stay to play extra packets afterward.

Payment
The entry fee will be $120 a team. There will be no discount for shorthanded teams. A $5 dollar discount will be given for each eligible buzzer a team brings. $10 discounts will also be offered to teams who can commit a staffer to future fall tournaments at Maryland, which will include but are not limited to Early Fall Tournament (10/8) and Terrapin XXIX (11/19). The minimum fee per team is $50.

This is the last call for registration for CO Trash at Maryland. We had one team drop out today and with the already small field for this tournament, it looks like it may not happen. If you are interested in bringing a team please register by email and spreadsheet before Friday or this tournament will be cancelled.

Also, please note if you have entered names on the "teams" page of spreadsheet without notifying me by email, you have not officially registered for this tournament. I need your emails so 1) I know who to contact and 2) I don't have to constantly keep checking the spreadsheet. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
