L-TOWN Trash Tournament, May 13th @ Lebanon HS, TN

Greetings!
We would like to welcome you to Lebanon Tournament of Wasted Nowledge, i.e. L-TOWN, a light-hearted pop culture tournament to close out the year and finally put to use all that Wasted Nowledge that you never got to show off. Frustrated that NAQT had no questions on One Direction, Sienfeld, or internet copypasta? This is the "competition" for you!
The Lebanon HS team is hard at work writing our own original sets of "trash" questions. These contain a mix of music, TV, film, video games, literature, sports, and general pop culture questions, carefully curated to no standards and endorsed by not a single professional organization. We can guarantee genuine frustration at the inane topics appearing in our packets. For maximum success, we urge you to arrive with neither expectations nor self-esteem and to study up by reducing yourself to a sheeple of the mass media.
In all seriousness- we hope this is a fun way to finish the semester and invite y'all to a friendly day of dumb questions.
We especially encourage novice and JV teams to participate and get some experience in a low pressure environment.
Date: May 13th
Location: Lebanon High School, 500 Blue Devil Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087
Times: Registration begins at 8:00, coaches' meeting at 8:45, first match at 9:00
Format: We guarantee 6 rounds per team. The format will be announced when we have a better idea of the number of teams present.
Rounds: Each round will contain three parts: 10 toss-ups, a Lightning Round (in the National History Bowl format), and 10 toss-ups with bonuses.
Prizes: Prizes will be both:
a. Plentiful
b. Terrible
Fees:

[*] $15 discount per buzzer system
[*] No minimum
