Cornell Cayuga Championship III - (11/13/10)

The Cornell University Quizbowl Club is pleased to announce the third annual Cayuga Championship

Date/Venue: November 13th, 2010, Cornell University, Ithaca NY

Questions:
Questions will be provided by National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT), and we will be using the IS-99A packets,for those unfamiliar, these are questions written at a level that is aimed to be accessible for high school underclassmen or less experienced HS players. If you're playing a tournament that is potentially using the same packets, you should check http://naqt.com/schedule.jsp?hs=yes for conflicts.

Rules:
The tournament will follow all NAQT rules, which can be read here:

Note: There is a possibility that we may play untimed rounds instead. In that case, 20 tossups will be read per round

Eligibility:
All highs school players

Schedule/Food:
The Cayuga Championship will occur all day on Saturday, November 13th, 2010, in Rockefeller Hall 122 (a map is available here http://www.rso.cornell.edu/cuquizbowl/map.html ).
Registration will begin at approximately 9 AM. There will be a one hour lunch break, at which time we will serve pizza and other food for 1-2 dollars each. The Tournament should end at approximately 5 PM on Saturday. There will be a guaranteed seven games for every team as well as single elimination or round robin playoffs. Google Map directions to other restaurants will be provided to all teams who register.

Tournament Fees:
There will be a registration fee of $60 for the first team from your school, and $30 for any additional teams you wish to send. There will be a $10 discount for each working buzzer system your school brings. There will also be a $10 discount for teams traveling 200 miles or more. More information about payment will be sent to teams that are interested in the tournament.

2) Number of teams
3) Applicable discounts (e.g. whether you are bringing a buzzer system)
4) Name and contact information of the team's coach
