James Island Tournament on Saturday!

Brookwood will "bring the house" with 3 varsity and 3 JV teams entered. I know Dorman is coming as is Irmo. Who else is ON for Charleston Saturday?

Mrs. Meek told me today that she had 24 JV teams and 34 or maybe 36 varsity teams as of today.

Cedar Shoals from Athens GA will be venturing into their first ever "road trip" tournament, and the way it stands now, the team will be all female, so this will be a learning experience from all sides.

We're all looking forward to this.

Results

Varsity

Brookwood (GA) beat Heritage (GA) for the varsity championship. Irmo (SC) and Fort Mill (SC) were semifinalists.

JV

Danville (KY) beat Brookwood-A (GA) to win the JV division. Brookwood-C was one semifinalist.

Where did Dorman end up, and did they not bring their first team?

Dorman dropped out due to bad weather/driving conditions last weekend.
