New England Middle School events?

Hi All,
I'm wondering if there is any New England activity in the middle school world? Our school is 6-12. So far, I've concentrated just on our high school program, but am beginning to think about trying to get a middle school group off the ground. My school is creating an "activity period" during the school day once a week and it would be a great chance to get something happening. Except: what is there for them to do?

Any other Massachusetts middle school teams out there?

From what I know, MA hasn't had any middle school events, but my former team (Middlesex Middle School, Darien, CT) holds a tournament every year called the Charter Oak Scholastic Open. It is on January 26. We've gotten teams from as far as Boston. You could also apply for an MSNCT wild card if you can't attend any tournaments.
