UTC Quizbowl: transition in leadership, HS impact

As posted in more detail in the Collegiate Discussion forum, I am resigning as coach of the UTC Quizbowl team and program effective 7/31/14. Assistant coach Jacob Vannucci has graciously agreed to step in as interim coach, and a group of UTC alumni and supported are working with me to chart out the future of the UTC program. While there is no guarantee, we are working to see if we can maintain the continuity of our fall HS tournament and/or resume the Dennis Haskins Open next spring after a hiatus this year. We will keep the high school QB community apprised of future developments.

Thanks to all the high school teams and coaches for 17 years of support for our program. Here's hoping for a great new chapter in the history of UTC quizbowl.
