Huskie Bowl at Northern Illinois University, 31 January 2015

Post by Potatoes »

Greetings,

The Northern Illinois University Quiz Bowl Association is excited to announce the return of Huskie Bowl. I, Alec Krueger, will serve as TD. It will be run on the HERMES set. More information on HERMES can be found here. If there is significant interest, we will run two divisions.

The fees for the tournament are as follows:
$60/team
-$10/additional team from a school
-$5/working buzzer system (must have at least four working lights for each team.)
-$10/experienced staffer (an additional -$5 if the staffer brings a laptop)

To register, please email [email protected] with the number of teams you would like to register and which discounts you will be eligible for. Due to our low initial cap of 18, B, C, etc. teams will be waitlisted until 1 January 2015.

There will be a Team Illinois practice, run by coaches Fischer and Prince, held immediately after this tournament concludes. If you would like more details, email them at [email protected] and [email protected].

IMSA will be there. The actual coach will send the actual registration fairly soon.

Awesome. Can you send me an email? Just so that I can have a record of it. Thanks!

What is the current field cap, and what are the chances that it can still be expanded?

The field cap is 24 teams, and will not be expanded. If you would like to be placed on the wait list, email me to let me know. (And so that I have a record of it.)
