Tri-State Tussle II at Delaware Valley (Milford, PA, 10-15)

Kevin DeVizia and I are happy to announce the second-annual Tri-State Tussle (Tri-State Tussle II: The Sequel) on October 15, 2016 at Delaware Valley High School, in Milford, PA, which is just off Interstate 84 at the Delaware River (Exit 53 in PA). We had a very good show last year, we had a lot of fun, and we hope you'll consider joining us for the second installment!
We will use an NAQT IS set, the actual set TBD. Standard rules will be in effect (powers, negs, etc., with sudden death overtime) with ACF timing (five seconds for everything). We are planning for a field of 24+ teams based on staffing. Formatting will be standard: round robin in the morning, with rebracketing and a round robin in the afternoon. A final/advantaged final will be played as necessary, with trophies for top teams and book prizes for top scorers.
Base fee will be $85 (second and subsequent teams $75), with the following discounts applied, one each per school:
Fully functioning buzzer: -$5
Fully functioning moderator or scorekeeper (if not qualified above): -$10
Teams coming from more than 150 miles (determined by Google Maps): -$10
As a fundraiser for another group (and for logistical simplicity), we will offer a pizza lunch for sale on site, as we did last year. Price points, etc., TBD.
If you want to sign up or if you have questions, etc., please email me at [email protected]. If you live anywhere near the tournament site, we'd love to have you volunteer. Please shoot me an email or post here to let us know.
We look forward to seeing you at Delaware Valley in October!
