The Quizbowl Resource Center

Texas Quiz Bowl will host its eighth annual Texas Invitational Weekend of Quiz Bowl on April 8-9, 2017. The weekend will include a mirror of the 2017 NAQT ICT Div II and the Eisenhower Memorial Tournament.

Location: Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston. Registration will close at the end of March 31.

Past Entrants: Previous iterations of TI have seen participants from Auburn (IL), Bellarmine (CA), Centennial (GA), Chattahoochee (GA), Detroit Catholic Central (MI), Dorman (SC), Georgetown Day (DC), Hinsdale Central (IL), Hunter College (NY), Loyola (IL), Northmont (OH), Ransom Everglades (FL), Western Albemarle (VA), and Wilmington Charter (DE).

Fees: Both events: $450; One Event Only: $250

Food: Saturday Lunch and Sunday Lunch will be included for all participating teams.

We are switching our Saturday set from the previously chosen Delta Burke set to the recently announced Eisenhower Memorial Tournament.

The top six teams in the midseason poll (and the top four teams in the hsqbrank midseason rankings) will be at Texas Invitational VIII. If you'd like to join us for our weekend of quizbowl, please let us know as soon as possible. Initial registration can be done through our Google form.

Registration for Texas Invitational VIII will close at midnight CT at the end of March 31.

Can confirm; was just me. By colonial definitions, Naperville is in the Ohio Country. I apologize to anyone who was confused by my usage of a state not my own.
