Enclosed in this message is all the information you should need for the day! Please do not hesitate to contact me by email ([email protected]) if you have any additional questions! Once you are at the tournament, feel free to give me a call at 208-859-9766 if you need additional assistance or have an issue that we need to address at the tournament.

First, I have attached an itinerary for the day that you should take a look at. We ask that you arrive at 9:00am and we will have rounds with breaks in between until 11:30a when we break for lunch until 1:00pm. The tournament should be done by 3:00pm with an awards ceremony following afterwards.

At the beginning of the day, we will have a small volunteer meeting in room 108 in the ECCR wing of the Engineering Center. There are two maps at the bottom of this message that should aid in finding the rooms in the engineering center. All team members and those who are not volunteering/reading/scorekeeping can meet in eccr 155 which signs will direct to inside of the Engineering Center. Breakfast will also be provided. We will have donuts, fruit, and drinks for all attending and volunteering.

During this meeting we will be going over role and room assignments as well as a brief introduction to the rules for those unfamiliar to the NAQT format. We suggest that in advance of the tournament. those reading or volunteering should skim the rules. It may also be helpful to go over these with your team in order to ensure they perform as well as possible.

Parking:
You will want to park in the lots adjacent to the Engineering Center. It can be navigated to on google maps under this address:

Lot 436/494, 2684 Colorado Ave, Boulder, CO 80305

The engineering center is to the west of this parking lot. Once you are inside the building, utilize the previously discussed maps at the bottom of this message

Payment:
Please make checks payable to the University of Colorado Boulder. If your team needs an invoice let us know in advance.

Also, here is our facebook page which we will post periodic updates throughout the day as well as results afterwards which you are invited to like: https://www.facebook.com/cutriviabuffs/

There is a men's basketball game going on campus during the day starting at 12pm. This should not affect us in any way other than traffic leaving the campus may be treacherous so we advise teams to visit nearby lunch destinations in order to avoid deadlock and/or possible difficulty in finding a parking spot after leaving the campus for lunch. The game will be over before we conclude our tournament so traffic out afterwards should be no issue.

We look forward to you being here and hosting an efficient and organized tournament that the kids will enjoy.
