Allderdice Invitational- (4/8/17)

The Allderdice Quiz Bowl Club is happy to announce we will be hosting our third annual quiz bowl invitational on April 8, 2017!
Location: Taylor Allderdice High School (2409 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh PA, 15217)
Tournament Director: Leo Sweeney ([email protected])
How to Register: Email the tournament director (me) at [email protected]
Cost: $70 for first team entered, $60 for all remaining teams. -$10 for each functioning buzzer system (must include 8 consistently working buzzers)
Please make checks payable to Allderdice High School
Question Packet: IS159A. If you have already participated in a tournament that used that packet, you can not play in the tournament.
Format: Questions will be standard NAQT questions. In the morning rounds, teams will play a round robin tournament. In the afternoon rounds, teams will play another round robin, except they will be seeded based off of how well they did in the morning rounds. We will be following the standard untimed NAQT format with 20 tossups and bonuses in each round. Further information may be found in the following link:

Lunch: There are lots of pizza places and other restaurants around Allderdice. We may also decide to sell lunch closer to the tournament.
If you would like to purchase a copy of the questions after the tournament has concluded, you may do so for $20. Only one copy of the questions will be given out to each schol
